Materials & Technology

Description

atmos and Albino & Preto draw inspiration from the "VS" concept in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for their GEL-KAYANO® 12.1 sneaker collaboration. Each collaborator selected a colorway that is rooted in the idea of Jiu-Jitsu opponents having different colored uniforms.

This design's upper construction was inspired by European gothic armor and its structural properties. The upper also features a combination of synthetic leather overlays open mesh underlays that help keep feet cool and comfortable.

The midsole features the same tooling system as the GEL-NIMBUS® 17 shoe. It was originally engineered for comfort during the marathons, featuring dual GEL® technology inserts and a FLUIDRIDE™ cushioning structure.

Width: 2A = Narrow, B = Standard, D = Wide, 2E = Extra Wide, 4E = Extra Wide (men's). Only non-standard widths are marked on the box; the width code is also printed inside the shoe under the tongue.
How to measure: Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, then measure from the heel to the tip of your longest toe. Measure in the afternoon when feet are slightly larger, and use the longer foot. Match the CM column to find your size.
